Psychological Testing
Psychological tests are objective, standardized instruments that have been developed on the basis of extensive research. Psychological testing is a specialized procedure used to help in understanding causes of problems, establishing diagnosis, developing a treatment plan, and aiding in medication management. In addition, it is used to assess and document changes and progress during the course of treatment. Interpretation should only be done by a licensed professional trained in the administration, scoring and interpretation of such tests. Test results need to be carefully coordinated with the specific individual and their circumstances.
